Kisoro is one of the tourist towns in south Western Uganda bordering Rwanda and Congo. Kisoro is a very strategically located town with the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest , home to the Mountain Gorilla just a stone throw away, the Lake Mutanda, the Mt. mgahinga and the Virunga Mountains are all in close proximity.

Day 1: Kisoro Gorilla Trekking Experience 
We awake early morning to a hearty breakfast in the beautiful Kisoro at the Ndere Lodge, in the middle of the Jungle and then proceed to the briefing point for the 8am briefing session. After a brief from the park guides on the do’s and don’ts and what to expect for the Trek, we set for the Jungle for an encounter of a lifetime with the mountain gorillas. The trek can take anywhere between 2 to 6 hours depending on how far the gorillas are. We return to the Lodge and relax waiting for the next day because the activity is tiresome. In the evening you’ll be treated to a cultural performance and entertainment from the Batwa community and natives. Dinner and Overnight at Ndere Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Mutanda Boat ride and Batwa Community Tour.
After breakfast, we endulge in a community walk as we breath in to the fresh forest and mountain air. Interact with the locals in markets, community schools as we make our way to Lake Mutanda. This visit enables you get an insight of how these local residents live in this part of the world and how they perceive life, this information is quite enriching. We take a lunch break and head for the boat ride on lake mutanda , quite soothing and amazing views of the virungas.
